Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy • All sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system. • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space. • Spaces are limited to ensure a calm and safe environment for both participants and dogs. • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email is sent. For school and care home bookings: • A booking form and invoice will be issued. • Sessions are secured once the agreed deposit (if applicable) is received. Cancellation Policy (Individual Sessions) Because our sessions are small, carefully planned and dog-led, late cancellations affect both our team and other families. • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session will receive a full refund or transfer. • Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be transferred once to a future session (subject to availability). • Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable and non-transferable. If Pause With Paws needs to cancel (e.g. dog illness, extreme weather, unforeseen circumstances), a full refund or reschedule will be offered. School & Organisation Cancellation Policy • Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice may be rescheduled or refunded (minus any deposit if stated in contract). • Cancellations within 7 days of the booking are chargeable at 50%. • Cancellations within 48 hours are chargeable at 100%. Waitlist Policy If a session is fully booked: • You may join our waitlist free of charge. • If a space becomes available, you will be contacted in order of registration. • You will have 12 hours to confirm your place before it is offered to the next person. Waitlist spaces are not guaranteed until payment is completed. Dog Welfare Statement Pause With Paws sessions are dog-led. If at any time a dog needs rest, sessions may be adapted to prioritise welfare and safety. We reserve the right to end or adjust a session if necessary for the wellbeing of participants or dogs. Behaviour & Safeguarding To maintain a calm environment: • Participants must follow handler guidance at all times. • Rough handling or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate intervention. • Parents/carers remain responsible for their children during sessions (unless agreed otherwise).
