"Delightful dogs that our residents loved. They took the trouble to bring their little dogs into the rooms of some of our residents who are bed-bound. They loved that interaction with the dogs and handlers. Would highly recommend." - Sandiacre Court Care Centre

The Firs Residential Home
We are proud to support The Firs with monthly dog assisted wellbeing sessions.
We had the most amazing time visiting residents.
"Our residents absolutely loved the visit and we’d be so happy to have you back again. I also wanted to tell you about our resident, she was completely over the moon meeting Lexi and Jake and hasn’t stopped talking about them! I had her photos printed over the weekend, and I’ve attached a picture of her receiving them. She was so pleased and will definitely treasure them.
Thanks again for such a lovely experience." - Activity Coordinator

The Firs
Our second visit was just as amazing as the first!
"A Paws-itively Wonderful Visit at The Firs
Today we had another lovely visit from our wonderful friends at Pause with Paws, and as always it brought so many smiles to our residents’ faces. The dogs provide comfort, companionship and plenty of joy, and it’s always a highlight of the day when they come to see us.
These special visits have such a positive impact on our residents. The gentle nature of the dogs helps create a calm and happy atmosphere, and there is nothing better than seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter they bring.
One of our lovely residents who prefers to stay in her room especially enjoys these visits. Even though she chooses the comfort of her own space, the dogs still bring companionship and brighten her day when they pop in to see her. It’s a beautiful reminder of how powerful these moments of connection can be.
A huge thank you to Pause with Paws for continuing to share their amazing dogs with us – we are always so grateful for your visits."
