Behind Pause With Paws

You’re probably wondering where this all began, so here is my story.
My name is Charlotte and I’m a psychology graduate. During my dissertation I researched and wrote a paper on how canine connection can help to improve humans physical and mental wellbeing.
I always knew there were benefits of owning a dog, especially after getting my soul dog in 2016, but my research opened my eyes up to just how special they are. Even just spending 10 minutes with a dog, not even your own, had been proven to help wellbeing. They really are magical.
After completing my degree I continued my studies and broadened my knowledge of the wellbeing field.
I hold multiple diplomas including life coaching, pain management, grief and bereavement counselling, pet loss grief and more. This led me to become a Pet Loss Grief Coach, where I helped others to manage their losses.
I know the importance of being able to socialise with a dog, but I also understand that not everyone is able to have a dog of their own. I started wondering if I could potentially help those people and after lots of planning and work, Pause with Paws was born.

Thank you,
Charlotte
